The Oakland Gay Men’s Chorus gives voice through song to a community where everyone matters.
The Oakland Gay Men’s Chorus (OaklandGMC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a community where everyone matters. Founded in 1999, OaklandGMC brings together voices from diverse backgrounds to perform powerful, uplifting music that resonates with audiences across the East Bay Area and beyond. With a mission to give voice to the LGBTQ+ community and allies through song, OaklandGMC offers an inclusive space that celebrates unity, creativity, and shared humanity. In addition to seasonal concerts, OaklandGMC engages in community outreach, using the transformative power of music to inspire social change and foster connection. The chorus is proud to call Oakland, California, home and continues to enrich its community with meaningful performances and engagement.
